There were a lot of snakes, turtles, frogs and fish by the side of the trail.

The other day, we went on a "hike" on a trail called Centennial Trail. It is a paved path that is pretty close to where we live. It leads to a lake called Fish Lake. We didn't walk to entire way, so I don't have any pictures of the Lake, but it is beautiful. Cody rides his bike on this trail now and seems to enjoy it. The people we are with are Ryan and Paula, they are our neighbors. Also, there little daughter Clara. They are a lot of fun and one of the first friends we met here.

We have made trips to Hermiston twice in the last few weeks. First, our nephew Josh was being ordained a Deacon. Second, Maisey was being blessed. We had a lot of fun and Cody was able to do some construction work with our brother in-law Jason.

Utah/Baby Shower

About a month after moving, I made a trip back to Utah for one last doctor appointment. Melissa and her two boys came out to visit while I was there. We had a good time, I think the cousins had fun too!

While I was in Utah, friends and family threw a baby shower for me. It was great to have everyone together. Here are a few of the people at the shower.

Baby Maisey Mae McDaniel

Right when Cody got back from high adventure we went to Oregon to see the newest addition to Cody's family. His sister Kimmy had a little girl. Her name is Maisey Mae McDaniel and she looks a lot like her older sister.

High Adventure

Shortly after moving here, I was asked to go to girls camp with the young women in our ward. I had a lot of fun, but unfortunately didn't get any pictures. Cody went on the high adventure with the young men and they went to the Washington Coast. These are a few of the pictures of his trip.

Camping with the Granges

Before we moved, we were able to go on one last camping trip with the Grange family. It was a lot of fun and good way to end our time in Utah. Cody and the kids built an awesome fort and it took them most of the time we were there.

Cody and Kristin

Cody and I have decided that we can join the blog fad now that we live so far away from our friends and family. I am still learning how to do this, so if it is not perfect...get over it. Here is what Cody and I have been up to this summer. This first picture was taken in our new kitchen in Cheney. We had a little baking session and I talked Cody into wearing an apron.
