We were able to set up our Christmas tree for the first time since we got it 3 years ago. It is nice having enough space to put it up. We did it for family home evening and it took a lot longer than planned, but we are glad to have it. There is just something about a Christmas tree all lit up. Eli was such a good helper! Although most of his ornaments ended up in one spot and it weighted down the branches, so we had to arrange a little the next day. Merry Christmas everyone!

Decorating our tree!
Thanksgiving in Boise
We went to Boise with Cody's family for Thanksgiving to see Grammy Jeanne. We had the traditional dinner at the church that they always go to. It was yummy and we all got so stuffed. We had a great time with everyone. I also got to talk to my entire family on the phone because they were all together. I enjoyed hearing all about their time in Bear Lake, but I was sad I couldn't be with them. I am just glad we were with family, that is what it is all about.
Eli turns 2!
Eli turned 2 in November. Due to the move we celebrated it in three parts: The day we moved with Cody's family that helped us move, his actual birthday with just our family, and the next Saturday with 2 of his friends and their families. He seemed to like that it was spread out because the attention was all his for a bit longer.
Eli on his real birthday, opening his gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Grange. Thanks for all the fun stuff!
Eli on the day we moved. We had Kimmie, Scott, Marrissah, Maisey, Grandma and Grandpa Hawes, and Henry the dog with us. This was a construction outfit that came with the dump truck that Aunt Jodi sent to him. Thanks everyone for all your help and for the fun gifts. He loves the clothes, big boy underwear, toys, etc.
Eli trying to show how old he is. If you ask him he says 3 for some reason, but we are working on it.
The Saturday after his birthday we had our friends come over for lunch and cake and ice cream. He had a lot of fun and got a planet earth movie and mister potato head from his friends. They had a great time playing in his playroom. Thanks Wyattes and Martins for coming to celebrate with us.
My poor child had an impromptu cake because I didn't have time to plan something out. Next year I will make it up to him. He didn't seem to mind because it all tastes the same. ;)
He loves the birthday song now and we sing while we brush his teeth. He was so patient waiting for his peice of cake, what a good boy!
Halloween in Hermiston
We went to Hermiston for Halloween, so we could spend some time with Cody's family. We went to the trunk or treat at the church and then they had a carnival in gym after. Eli had a lot of fun getting "tandy" and he enjoyed the games at the carnival.
Eli and Mommy after the fun night was almost over.
One of the many games he played at the carnival. He made all three bean bags in the same hole.
Rissah and Maisey as cheerleaders.
The two puppy dogs together. Eli and Tyler.
Aunt Jodi and Eli at the cake walk.
The cutest puppy dog you have ever seen.

No Pictures, but much love!
I was going to update my blog with some new pictures and an update of all the things we have been up to, but I am waiting to get more memory for my computer before I download my pictures. So you get a boring word update! Where do I start....? I know some of you know this, but others don't. We are buying our first house! We are so excited! We are still waiting to hear on a closing date, but it will probably be the 2nd week of November. We will be changing wards, but will stay in our stake. It is closer to Cody's work and closer to Spokane. We will have a guest bedroom, so we welcome all who want to come and visit us! :) Cody is loving his job at the Prison and is learning a lot. He loves having a "grown up" job. Eli and love having him home by 4:30 every day. Eli will be turning 2 in a month and he acts like a "big boy" more every day. He is talking a lot and he amazes me at how quickly he catches on to things. He loves playing with puzzles, reading books, playing catch and wrestling with Daddy, and he loves movies! Our baby is due in January and we are so excited. We have been told that it is a girl, but I will believe it when I see it. haha. My belly is growing nicely, but still has more to go. It's funny because I always think of things I can say on this, but when it comes time I can't remember any of it. Just know that we are happy and doing well. Thanks for checking up on us!

Trip to Utah
These pictures are kind of backwards, but we went to Bear Lake with my entire family and we had a blast despite the cold weather. Eli loved the sand and the cold water and playing with his cousins. When we got back to Grandma's house he had fun playing on the swing set and fighting/playing with the cousins. Thanks family for making those special memories with us! We love you all and can't wait to see you again.

I'm back!
To all those faithful bloggers out there, I wish I was more like you. I recently got back online and realized I have missed out on a lot of things in my friends lives because I haven't been keeping up with my blog. I just want you all to know that I am going to try harder to keep it updated. This is a really busy time right now with manager stuff, but i will try to do it. Since I last posted a lot has happened, but the biggest and most exciting news is that we are going to have a baby in January. We have been told that there is an 80% chance that it is a girl. We are so excited to have an addition to our family. The other exciting news is that Cody got a job at a correctional facility near where we live, as a social worker. He will start in October. We are both excited for these changes in our lives. Thanks for not giving up on us, we still love you all and hope to hear from you. Cute pictures are to come when I get home from Utah. Until then...take care.

Mommy's Little Helper!
Valentines Day and Dance
For Valentines Day Cody surprised me and left a treat for me in the Bathroom. I know what your thinking, but hear me out. His not says, "... I would flush all the gold in the world to spend one minute with you." Or something to that effect. He then asked me to the ward sweetheart dance the following weekend.
This is how I responded...
We had a good time being corny and creative!
February 2009- Eli is 15months
Dance night for FHE & Catch me FHE
We like to have dance parties for family home evening and Eli is the best dancer out of all of us.
We also like to rough house for our FHE activity.
Bosie January 2009
Since we weren't able to got Bosie for Christmas we went on New Years day. We saw a lot of Cody's extended family and we saw my Brother Danny's family. We got to see baby Josh for the first time and Eli was loving on him as much as he could. Danny's kids got a trampoline for Christmas and they wanted Cody to jump with them a lot.
Four-wheelers +Sledding= Fun!
Cody's sister Jodi moved out into the country, so they have more land to play around on. We pulled the sleds behind the four-wheelers and everyone had a good time. At first Eli was asleep in the car, but then he woke up and had a good time. He even got over his fear of dogs, by letting them give him a big kiss on the lips.
