We have not had great weather lately, but there have been a few days that have been really bad! This is one of those days when the rain was just coming down so hard and it was so dreary. I hate days like that, but I love these pictures! He just seems so thoughtful and still which doesn't happen often. I am grateful for both of my kids because they make me happy no matter what the day is like. What a blessing!

Playing with the BOYS!
One of the many great things about Cody being home on Fridays is the fact he gets to play with Eli more than he would otherwise. One Friday we had Eli's friend Jamison over to play and Cody was having a great time doing "boy" things with them. I as a woman don't understand the fun in getting scared or hit, but they seem to love it!
Weekend away to Seattle
One weekend we decided to be spontaneous and head to Seattle. I was so excited because I had never been. On our way to Seattle we stopped at Snoqualmie Falls. It was beautiful and a great place for us to get out of the car and get the wiggles out.
After we checked in at the hotel we walked over to Pikes Market, this was pretty much the face we got the entire time until he was able to get out of the stroller and run around.
At Pikes Market we got to see the famous fish throwing and Eli even got to talk to a monk fish. He loved that it talked back to him.
We then went to the Space Needle, but we wanted to wait until it was a little darker, so we played around up front for a while. Eli was all smiles!
Saturday morning we went to the Zoo. Turns out it is an all day event, it is so huge! Eli loved all the animals, he just wished he could touch them. I guess he doesn't understand the fact that any one of them could do some serious damage to a person his size. He still loved it though.
Eli tried calling for all the animals to come to him. It was so cute!
Sadie May's Blessing
Sadie was blessed on March 14, 2010. We had both sets of grandparents and both Cody's sisters' families. It was a fun weekend, thank you to all those who came! She is a beautiful baby and she is so calm and patient. Sadie is the perfect addition to our family and we can't wait to see what she will be like as she gets older. My mom made the dress....thanks mom! I don't think I could have handled the tiny sleeves again. ;)

2 yr. old + Pen = Disaster!
In February While I was taking a shower Eli broke a pen and got it all over the couch, carpet, and himself. I was too upset at the time to take a picture of it before we got most of it out, but here are some of the after pictures of the bathtub (blue ring around the edge) and Eli after his bath. If only I had pictures of the crime scene because those might come in handy one day as blackmail photos. haha!

Cute New crafty site!
I found a cute new blog that has great craft ideas. They are also doing a give away this month. Here is what they said:"To celebrate the launch of this new show, our friends at Janome are letting us give away TWO (yes, TWO!!) dream machines! Someone is going to win the Janome 350e EMBROIDERY machine and a second person is going to win the Janome DC4030 SEWING machine! Now how cool is that?!"They have video tutorials that are very helpful when you are a visual learner like me.What a great blog, I am excited to see what things they come up with. Here is the link to their site. http://www.thediydish.com

Sadie's first bottle feeding
Although I have pumped milk on a few occasions, I haven't had a chance to give it to Sadie in a bottle yet. I decided to try it this weekend and she did pretty good, but she fell asleep. Eli has been wanting to give her a bottle since he saw them in the cupboard. He was so excited to give it a try and he did a great job. What a good big brother! Not sure what the face is all about, but it is cute!
Triple Play in Coeur d'alene Idaho
Cody had a 4 day weekend, so we decided to have a "stay"cation. On Friday we went to Coeur d'alene Idaho which is about 45 minutes away. There is an indoor water park there, so we decided to take Eli. We all had a blast! We also went out to dinner to a restaurant named Rockin' Robin, it was good. Monday we went and saw Persey Jackson and the Olympians. Eli sat well through it and it was a pretty good movie. We loved our cheap weekend at home.
Sadie and Daddy chillin' together. We tried putting Sadie's feet in the water, but it was too cold for her taste, so she cried. She liked the warmth of the air in the park though, they keep it nice and toasty.
Eli playing by the water spout that shot out warm water, it was a nice contrast to the water all around that was a little on the chilly side.
Eli and I were posing for a picture, but he couldn't hold still long enough for the picture, so it looks like I am just chillin' in the kiddie pool all by myself. At least that's my story and I am sticking to it.
Pictures of Daddy and Eli in the wave pool moments before they got kicked out. Apparently you have to be 3 years old to go in there. Eli enjoyed it while it lasted and kept trying to go back. I guess we know where we are going to go next November.
