1 week old

Sadie is almost 3 weeks old, but here are some pics from her 1 week b-day.

A little bit of everything

Daddy's little princess!
Sadie and Brother Attwood. He is our distant relative, but he also has taken us under his wing.
Eli tries to play with Sadie. She tolerates him most of the time.
Sadie's first bath at home, thanks grandma!
The Martins came to visit one night and Eli was so excited to see Bell.
I like to call this the lazy look.
Smiles are hard to capture, so it is not a great pic...still cute though.
Kisses from the big brother.
Her shirt says, "I'm the little sister."
My cute kiddos.
I was experimenting with making bows, so I placed it on her heard to see what it looked like.
Grandpa Grange was able to fly out for the weekend to see Sadie and we were happy to see him. So was Grandma, she missed him.

Sadie May

Well, she is here! Our sweet baby Sadie came to our family this week. She wanted to come really bad. I started contractions at 12:20 am and she was born at 3:30 am. She was just excited to meet us I guess. We were only in the hospital 40 minutes by the time she was born. She is so sweet and I can tell already that she will be a perfect addition to our family. We feel so blessed to have her in our arms and we are excited for everyone to see her! Here are some pictures of the hospital and her first few days home.

Escalator+ 2 Year old= Stitches

As some of you already know, Eli had to get stitches on December 29. We were at the mall and about ready to go back to the car when I decided to use the escalator to get to the level our car was on. Eli and I were holding hands. He lost his footing and fell forward, I couldn't pull him up quick enough before he hit his head on the edge of a stair. He had a pretty good cut and was bleeding. After mall security helped me clean it up and cover it, I took him in to the doctor and they put in 2 stitches. He was so brave and I was proud of him. It is healing pretty well and I hope it doesn't leave too much of a scar. This first picture cracks me up because it is the next day and he is just pretending like it hurts. As you can tell from the other picture, he is totally okay.

Christmas In Hermiston

Cody and Scott waiting for Christmas dinner to be served. Too many cooks in the kitchen or something like that.
Rick and Jodi. Daddy's little girl. ;)
Eli got play-dough for the gift exchange we did with the entire family. It was a big hit with all the kids and even the adults.
Mommy and Eli on Christmas night.
Cody sporting the food storage we got from his mom and dad. Thanks, we actually have room to store it now which is exciting.
Eli got a board with two hooks and his name on it from Grandma and Grandpa Hawes. They also made him a box to keep treasures in. It has a beautiful picture of an Eagle.
Christmas morning. Eli opened one of his gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Grange. He loved the animals and wanted it opened right away. I love the way he is just admiring it in this picture.
Eli opening his stocking.
Christmas Eve. Eli opened one gift. It was jammies and a book. He is reading the book with Grammy and Grandma.
Eli sporting the cute new outfit Grandma Grange sent to him. What a ham!
Some Videos of the exciting couple of days. Isn't he such a good talker?

BYU Bowl Game

We had a bunch of friends over for the BYU football bowl game. We sent the kids downstairs to play and watch a movie. This was at the beginning of the movie, so they are sitting still. Not too long after...it became a little more chaotic. It was fun and we love having the space to hold everyone. Go Cougars!

Snowman

The few days we actually had snow enough to stick it has rained shortly after and melted it all away. Luckily, Eli and I mad it out one day before this happened and we built a snowman. He had a lot of fun and even gave him a big hug. He kept sneaking out of the house to check on the snowman. I finally had to deadbolt the door. He was sad when it had disappeared the next day. We haven't had a good snowman building snow since.

Santa!

At our ward Christmas party, Santa made an appearance. Eli did not quite know what to do, but he was happy to get the candy cane after. Whenever we talked about Santa he would say "Santa, candy cane, thank you." At least he remembers his manors.

Baby Shower!

My cute friend Courtney Colver threw a baby shower for me in December. It was so much fun and I loved getting together with all my old ward friends! I got some cute girly things, so lets hope this baby is a girl. haha. They all made personalized onesies for her and I can't wait to put them on her. Thanks girls for coming and thanks Courtney for the party and Paula for the always entertaining games. You guys are awesome!
